| Faith Formation is a process that assists parents in bringing their children closer to God. The Catechists provide additional support to the parent’s vital role of modeling Christian attitudes and values. The parish faith community assists in this effort by providing the resources necessary to accomplish this end.
During the formation process, the children are prepared for the completion of their sacraments of initiation – Eucharist and Confirmation – as well as the sacrament of reconciliation.
At this juncture in our parish’s faith formation we are reviewing a community-centered process for faith formation – Generations of Faith. It is a process that will invite the very young to the very old in the parish to experience a life long faith formation experience. We anticipate its implementation in the fall of 2007.
